West Wilson Addresses Whether a Video of Him ‘Canoodling’ With Amanda Batula in His Apartment Exists

News RoomBy News RoomJune 25, 20265 ViewsNo Comments

West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s controversial romance was thrust into the spotlight after an alleged video of the pair was threatened to be exposed. But does the video even exist?

“I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard from credible sources it does,” West, 31, revealed during The Broadcast Boys’ Wednesday, June 24, Instagram breakdown of the Summer House scandal. “It’s very illegal, I’d like to note.”

During the video, hosts Lucas Brody and Nelson Vergara, both friends of West, grilled the reality star about his and Amanda’s relationship timeline. When it comes to the video that allegedly sparked their rushed public statement, West admitted he has no idea if it is really out there.

“From what I’ve been told it was Amanda and I canoodling in my apartment from one of my neighbors across the street,” West explained in the social media breakdown. “That’s what kinda kicked off everything into panic, rush mode.”

When Lucas asked why West’s blinds were open if he was a “D-list” celebrity, he said he never expected to be filmed.

“I guess I’ve always thought in New York there’s an unspoken rule that we can all see each other across our f***ing windows and balconies, like, don’t film each other,” West replied.

Lucas and Nelson, who are known for discussing the hottest topics on the internet — and decoding scandals using whiteboards — accepted West’s explanation but didn’t let up on their criticism of how West and Amanda, 34, became a couple.

Lucas, for his part, called out West for issuing a “soulless” joint statement with Amanda on March 31 after denying the rumors that they were together one week earlier. (The statement came just two months after Amanda and her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, announced in January that they had split after four years of marriage.)

“Worst thing I’ve ever done,” West responded, claiming that neither he nor Amanda wrote it.

He wouldn’t reveal who penned the statement, which confirmed that the pair had become romantic after being friends for years.

“Clearly f***ing not me or her,” West added. “We put our google notes in it.”

When asked whether the rumors that he and Amanda were hooking up as early as February 8 (Super Bowl weekend), West said no.

He did, however, explain where the speculation came from after Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia claimed that the pair were already dating by that weekend.

“I think I was just f***ing drunk and told Bri, ‘Amanda’s single. Amanda’s hot,’” West recalled.

He also addressed the faux pas of kissing Amanda at a Yankees game in early April so soon after their controversial romance was made public. (The Yankees game took place on April 17, the same day that West’s ex-girlfriend and Amanda’s former BFF Ciara Miller graced the cover of Glamour and spoke out for the first time about the betrayal she felt.)

“The first month of this I was in survival fight or flight mode,” West said on Wednesday, noting that he was trying to do normal things to counteract what was happening.

He admitted, “I wasn’t thinking about anyone else but me.”

When asked whether West’s touchy-feely actions toward Amanda while filming season 10 of Summer House in summer 2025 were any indication that they were secretly hooking up prior to their 2026 relationship, West once again denied the allegations.

“It’s kinda who I am,” he explained of getting cozy with his friends. “I always hug and tell my friend I love them.”

Following West and Amanda’s relationship bombshell, the pair reunited with their Summer House costars in April to film a three-part reunion.

During the episodes, the pair side-stepped a lot of questions about their relationship and their true feelings for one another. However, during Summer House: The Aftermath, which filmed in May and aired earlier this month, West admitted he’s cared for Amanda for some time.

“I haven’t got to the point where I have told her or myself that I’m in love or not. But I do love her and have. I have cared about her for a very, very long time,” West told Kyle, 43, during the June 16 special.
