Brewers vs. Rays | Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8:00 ET | Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL | FOX
The Milwaukee Brewers are up two games in the series and have looked fantastic in each game. The Rays have looked good too, but not quite as good as the Brewers. Tampa won’t be eliminated with a loss tonight, but they need to get a win to keep realistic hopes alive.
In Game 1, the Brewers took the lead early and never looked back. Milwaukee jumping out to an early lead was all that Jacob Misiorowski needed. The Rays did make the game close, and even had the tying and go-ahead runs on base late in the game, but they couldn’t get the run across the plate.
In Game 2, it was the Rays who took charge. Helped by an error, they put up four before the Brewers even came to bat. Unfortunately for Tampa, Milwaukee answered with two runs of their own in the bottom of the first. Milwaukee then scored a run in three different innings in three different ways. That allowed the Brewers to take the lead and win Game 2.
For Game 3 of the World Series, the Brewers need to just keep doing whatever they’ve been doing. They get timely hits, they work together, and never give up. The Rays have to find a way to get to the Brewers’ bullpen, and they need to get a big hit at key moments.
