If you’re bored with crossbodies, same. Clearly, so is Jennifer Lawrence, who skipped the basic style for a sleek, luxe alternative. Her ‘golf handle’ bag costs four figures, but we found the sophisticated look for only $28!
Spotted in New York City, the Oscar winner rocked a simple white tee, a flowy skirt, preppy oxford shoes and a drapey trench coat, plus a black Golf Handle Bag from Guidi that pulled the whole outfit together. We can only speculate about the ‘golf handle’ name, but we assume it’s because it makes anyone appear country club-rich. This Amazon twin has the same effect!

Lawrence has long favored elevated minimalism, trading busy logos for shape and proportion, and it’s almost too easy to copy. Structured but not stiff, compact but not small, this timeless piece elevates your aesthetic the way a proper handbag should.
Like Lawrence’s, this FashionPuzzle Top-Handle Bag is incredibly polished, featuring smooth black (faux) leather, a rectangular silhouette and bold gold hardware for a touch of shine, plus structured handles that keep the look clean.
And if you do yearn for the hands-free ease of a crossbody, this chic bag delivers, thanks to the attachable strap. One five-star shopper wrote, “The longer strap is adjustable, which I really appreciate because it makes it easy to wear as a shoulder bag or crossbody depending on what I need.”
They also raved about the roomy interior, adding, “It’s the perfect size when you want something smaller and lightweight, but still want to look put together and a little fancy. Great everyday purse for running errands, going out or dressing up a simple outfit.”
Whether for lunches in the city, girls’ trips to the winery or dinner reservations in town, this classy bag is the crossbody alternative your wardrobe is missing. You’ll reach for it year-round — and for only $28, there’s no reason not to snag it!
