The Lakers are getting one of their starting wings back on Monday night.
Ziaire Williams was taken off the injury report for the Lakersâ home game against the Heat after being sidelined for three games because of left foot soreness/injury management.
The 6-foot-10 wing last played in the Oct. 27 loss to the Trail Blazers, recording 11 points, four assists and two steals in 29 minutes.
âThe images have been clean,â coach JJ Redick said of Williamsâ foot on Sunday. âI would describe it [as] a soreness that just pops up in the morning. He’s feeling a lot better. Just being cautious with the back-to-back.â
The Lakers are coming off beating the Raptors on Sunday night, the first night of the back-to-back set.
Williams started in the four regular-season games heâs played in so far, plus the two preseason games he suited up for.
Heâs averaging 11.3 points on 57.1% shooting (46.7% on 3-pointers), three rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Adou Thiero (left knee injury management) was the lone player on the injury report, being listed as out.
