Jalen Brunson played through pain to carry the Knicks to a championship.
The Finals MVP underwent a minor procedure to repair a tendon issue in his left wrist/hand Tuesday, The Post’s Stefan Bondy reported. His recovery timetable is six to eight weeks.
Contrary to reports that it was on his right wrist and hand and that it is set to happen, the procedure already took place and was on his left, shooting side. It was performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Brunson dealt with the discomfort during the Finals against the Spurs. Whenever he went into his natural shooting motion, the tendon painfully rubbed against the bone in his left wrist.
