How to watch 2026 PGA Championship for free: Tee times, livestream schedule

The second of the four major tournaments on the PGA Tour begins today.

The PGA Championship begins today and will continue through Sunday, May 17, when the winner of the 108th annual tournament will be named. This year’s PGA Championship field consists of 156 golfers, among them PGA Tour champions and major tournament winners. Following the first two rounds, the field will be cut to the top 70.

Going into the PGA Championship, Scottie Scheffler is a favorite as he looks to repeat after winning here last year. Recent two-time Masters champ Rory McIlroy is also among the favorites to win, with Jon Rahm, 2026 Players Championship winner Cameron Young and Bryson DeChambeau rounding out the top five.

PGA CHampionship 2026, round 1: what to know

  • When: April 9, 6:45 a.m. ET
  • Where: Aronimink Golf Course (Newton Square, Pennsylvania)
  • Channel: ESPN (from 12 p.m. ET today)
  • Streaming: DIRECTV (try it free)

When is the 2026 PGA Championship?

The 2026 PGA Championship begins today, May 14, and ends on Sunday, May 17.

How to watch PGA Championship for free

While the 2026 PGA Championship will air across the a few different networks and streaming services, you only need one to stream every minute of the tournament: DIRECTV.
