The upcoming warmer weather means it’ll soon be time to ditch long sleeves. However, if you get self-conscious about your arms and don’t exactly love showing them off, consider filling your closet with cap-sleeve tops. They were designed to have a drapey, loose fit that won’t hug your upper arms in an awkward way. Still, you’ll remain cool in the spring and summer.

Cap sleeves are different from short sleeves because they are shorter and cover the shoulders as opposed to the whole upper part of the arm. The extra-short sleeve is a step past a tank top, so you’ll get that coverage without adding heat. Amazon, Nordstrom, Walmart and more retailers are stocked and ready to cover shoulders everywhere!

Cap-Sleeve Tops That Flatter Arms

1. Our Favorite: With a breezy crocheted look, this relaxed cap-sleeve top comes in neutral, soft and bold colors. The cotton-blend shirt has a boho-like feel for an ideal warm-weather option.

2. Everyday Wear: If you’re not looking to reinvent the wheel, snag this casual everyday tee. It has relaxed sleeves, so it won’t pinch your arms.

3. Cool Color-Blocking: Add a little color to your spring wardrobe with a color-block cap-sleeve top. This ribbed option offers a nice texture to the overall look.

4. Striking Stripes: Not only are the sleeves relaxed on this striped cap-sleeve top, but the overall fit is loose. So, it’s a casual option you can wear from day to day.

5. Button-Up Beauty: It doesn’t get cuter than a button-up cap-sleeve top that you can wear in various ways. Although it has a sweater-like material, it’s super lightweight.

6. Nice Knit: Leave it to Free People to make a textured knit top that’s unlike anything we already own. The sweet ivory color is just what the season calls for.

7. Cute Crochet: This crochet cap-sleeve shirt incorporates stripes, so it comes out as a cool design. It’s made of 100% cotton, meaning the quality is there.

8. Vibrant V-Neck: This isn’t your average V-neck cap-sleeve top, as it has a crocheted neckline. Now we just have to choose which of the eight colors is our favorite.

9. Sweetly Sheer: An otherwise simple shirt is made more interesting with sheer sleeves. This $15 cap-sleeve pick makes everyday dressing just a little more interesting.

10. Complimentary Cowl Neck: Cap sleeves can work at night, too. This Donna Karan cowl-neck top has an elevated look that you can dress up.

11. Flower Power: Bet you don’t have a cap-sleeve sweater vest! The Anthropologie find has a chic floral design for a touch of spring.

12. Boxy Babe: It’s boxy and basic, but sometimes that’s what an occasion calls for. This cropped cap-sleeve tee will be your go-to when you don’t know what to wear.

13. Casual Color: With a loose fit and solid color options, this casual crewneck top is an easy $12 decision. Don’t be afraid to choose one of the bolder hue offerings for the warm weather!

14. Feminine Flair: The lace and crochet details across this longer-length cap-sleeve shirt adds a unique touch. It’s a lightweight top and fits true to size, according to shoppers.

15. Sexy Silk: Meet your new night-out shirt with this Donna Karan top. It’s made of 90% silk and 10% silk for style and stretch.

16. Real Ruched: With a completely ruched front and back, this peplum cap-sleeve top offers a lot of texture.

17. Holy Moly: You’re sure to feel the breeze in this relaxed crochet top. It’ll be your best friend on the hottest days of the year.

18. Pretty Peplum: Prepare for a little structure with this Anthropologie peplum top. It cinches in the middle to give your body a nice shape.

19. Lovely Lace: The cap sleeves on this $15 lightweight tee are completely lace. So, they’ll grace your arms instead of hugging them.

20. Fitted Find: Whether you’re dressing for a workout class or a casual day, this Free People tee is a ribbed closet staple. It comes in eight colors for easy rotation.

21. Friendly Florals: This work-appropriate cap-sleeve top looks more expensive than it is, thanks to its satin-like look. The pink and purple floral pattern is ideal for the upcoming seasons.
