Taylor Swift and the color red go together like peanut butter and jelly. The showgirl is known for her signature red lipstick and frequently integrates the bold hue into her wardrobe. Case in point, she just stepped out in buckle-style sandals for a stroll through Manhattan, and the romantic pair had burning red details we can’t ignore.

Swift recently wore chunky Christian Louboutin platforms as a bold accent to her white and blue striped Staud maxi dress. Additional accessories included delicate jewelry, black cat-eye sunglasses and a mini yellow handbag that’s a statement in its own right — but her shoes absolutely stole the show. The designer sandals are out of our price range, but we found a block-heel style that leans on her red go-to look, and it’s on sale right now for $60.

On the heels of this epic footwear moment, we’re anticipating accented shoes and full-on red sandals to be the ‘It’ shoe styles for summer. Combine Swift’s mega influence with the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2, whose logo is literally a crimson stiletto, the trend feels kismet, and we’re here for it.

The Journee Collection Evylinn Sandals are a gorgeous option if you’re looking to channel Swift’s block heel style this season. It features a 2-inch block heel for added height, a bucket strap around the ankle, and while Swift’s shoes appear to have a rounded toe, Journee’s features a chic square front. The sleek shoe comes in six other color options, too, in case you fall in love with your first pair.

Not only are the Evylinn Sandals a gorgeous statement, they’re also comfortable. The insoles are constructed from Journee’s exclusive Tru Comfort Foam that makes them cushioned and supportive enough to wear for hours at a time. And according to shopper reviews, this is the real deal.

One satisfied customer wrote, “Wore these to a wedding where I was a bridesmaid. They lasted me all day and I didn’t have any issues with it. They’re the most comfortable heels I’ve worn for such a long period of time.” Another person also said that the strap across the foot is wide enough that it also “doesn’t hurt your feet.”

Every shoe collection needs a statement, and this summer is calling for crimson footwear. Swift’s buckle sandal style can be romantic for date night or a fun accessory that adds a pop of color to a casual afternoon look. Channel the singer’s aesthetic with the Journee Collection Evylinn Sandals, and don’t be surprised if you find yourself adding more colors to your cart. It’s a sophisticated shoe with a ‘big reputation’ for being comfortable.
