Far-left Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez haughtily proclaimed she doesn’t discuss her personal life just days after posting a video showcasing every step of her ongoing fertility treatment in excruciating detail.
She declined to answer when a Post reporter asked about her split from longtime fiancé Riley Roberts as she exited her Queens apartment building Wednesday morning to walk her French bulldog, Deco, whom she shared with Roberts.
“I don’t comment on my private life – thank you,” the Democrat darling said with a smile — and sans engagement ring — before clamming up and refusing to respond to any follow-ups.
Later on Wednesday, the pol’s former deputy chief of staff Naureen Akhtar appeared to have flowers delivered — a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and yellow roses addressed to “Sandy,” AOC’s nickname.
“Thinking of you!” the note said. “Hope these flowers bring some light to your day. Love, Naureen.”
But for the past week, Ocasio-Cortez, 36, has taken to Instagram to give her 9.6 million followers a look into her private life — as she publicly documents the process to freeze her eggs.
One video showed her entire home treatment setup, with vials, syringes and other implements.
The video culminates with the congresswoman – who many believe is gearing up for a White House run in 2028 – lifting up her shirt and wiping her stomach with an alcohol wipe before injecting herself.
“Don’t be weird about this,” she said right before taking the shot.
The Bronx and Queens congresswoman said undergoing the treatment was “a choice that I am making to feel more in control of my life,” brushing off any critiques or assumptions, including that the move was the result of breaking things off with her fiancé or an indicator she plans to defer motherhood to pursue a run for president.
She groused in another video that her government-provided insurance “does not cover one penny” of the procedure.
“It is 100% out of pocket … it covers nothing,” she said, noting she “saved for a long time” to cover the estimated $8,000 cost.
The congresswoman said storing the frozen eggs will cost an additional $1,200 annually.
AOC has been engaged to Roberts, who has worked in marketing and web development, since 2022. They were in a relationship when she became the youngest person ever elected to Congress in 2018.
“If people want to make assumptions about my decision, let them make those assumptions. I feel empowered to make this choice,” she insisted.
Rumors have swirled for some time that the couple’s relationship may be on the rocks.
In a 2018 GQ interview, Ocasio-Cortez made the baffling assertion that being engaged to Roberts, who is white, has made her question whether she wants to be in an interracial relationship, and said she believed men only think they want to be with a successful woman.
“The moment you start being yourself, they kind of freak out,” she explained. “I think it causes a conflict within them that they didn’t even anticipate. It’s not even a deception. It’s just, they uncover insecurities that they didn’t know were there.”
The marquee Democratic Socialists of America New York City member has also been spotted several times without her engagement ring, most notably when they were photographed together at a Manhattan burger joint in May.
When asked specifically if Roberts was supportive of her pursuing egg freezing, AOC sidestepped the question, saying only “All of my loved ones have been very supportive.”
One Democratic operative who has encountered the couple in years past had a brutal assessment of their courtship, describing Roberts as “an awkward guy as a partner for a dynamic woman” like AOC.
“Whenever he was around at events, he never spoke,” the source said. “No one thought she actually liked him.”
