Eminem’s Ex-Wife Kim Scott’s Friend Begs Her to ‘Wake Up’ in 911 Call 3 Months Before Hospitalization (Exclusive)

News RoomBy News RoomAugust 16, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

A close friend of rapper Eminem’s ex wife, Kim Scott, made a frantic call to 911 just three months before she was hospitalized following an alleged suicide attempt.

According to dispatch calls and 911 audio exclusively obtained by Us, Scott’s friend called the Chesterfield Township Police Department on April 1, 2026, requesting medical personnel respond to the rapper’s ex-wife’s Michigan residence.

“I need an ambulance,” the friend, who Us has chosen not to publicly identify in order to protect her privacy, told dispatch at the time. “I was at work and she just called and she said she had an argument with her son, and she’s unresponsive.”

The friend continued, at times growing frantic, “Is she breathing? Is she breathing? She’s breathing, but we can’t get her up. She’s breathing. She’s warm. She called and she said she needed help.”

As Kim’s friend continued to speak with the operator, revealing she believed the mom of three had been unconscious for “10 minutes, maybe,” another, unidentified woman in the background could be heard frantically yelling, “Kimberly, you gotta wake up!” (Scott has one biological daughter with Eminem, Hailie Jade Scott. The former couple adopted niece Alaina Marie Scott, who is the daughter of Kim’s late twin sister, Dawn. Kim is also a mom to child Stevie Laine Scott from a previous relationship, who was later adopted by Eminem, as well as a son named Parker from a previous relationship.)

“Please hurry,” the friend tells the operator again, before directing her comments at her unconscious friend.

“Kim, what did you take?” she asks Kim, who does not audibly respond.

“She’s still breathing, but we can’t wake her up,” the friend once again reiterated to the 911 dispatch. “We don’t know [if she took anything]. That’s what I’m looking through right now to try to find out.”

Us has reached out to Kim’s lawyer for comment.

As Us previously reported, officers were dispatched on April 1 at 11:26 a.m. after receiving a call regarding an “unconscious and unresponsive” adult female. According to the police report, Eminem’s ex was on the couch and “not moving” when authorities arrived.

When the fire department arrived and started assessing her, police claimed Kim was “unresponsive until she was placed in the back of the ambulance where she was awake and had a full conversation.”

The call was one of 10 emergency calls involving Eminem’s ex-wife local police have received in the last two years. The Chesterfield Township Police Department was called four times to Kim’s Michigan home in 2026 alone — including a July 11 call in which authorities responded to a woman “bleeding.”

A dispatcher described the incident as a “suicide attempt” and requested assistance from emergency services workers because Kim was possibly “unconscious.” Kim was ultimately escorted out of her home on a stretcher to receive emergency treatment.

Us later obtained a police report detailing a chaotic scene when first responders showed up at Kim’s home on July 11. While an emergency dispatcher initially relayed that Scott might be unconscious, officers reported that they encountered her in an “extremely hostile” state, describing her as “irate and combative.” During the alleged altercation, authorities claim Kim bit and kicked officers and was observed to be “unstable on her feet.” Officers took note that Scott allegedly threw headphones at a wall at one point and eventually had to be strapped down to a stretcher.

On Thursday, August 13, Kim was remanded back to jail after multiple bond violations.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan confirmed to Us on Friday, August 14, that Scott, 51, is currently being held in custody. Prosecutors claim that a judge revoked Scott’s bond and agreed to her release if she entered inpatient treatment, according to CBS News.

Kim previously pleaded no contest in May to charges of operating while intoxicated (OWI) after she was accused of being impaired when she crashed into a truck earlier this year. She was arrested days later for a separate OWI incident.

Kim allegedly failed to appear at her court hearings, which prosecutors told CBS violated her bond terms. A judge subsequently issued bench warrants in June, which were ultimately canceled within a day after she was arraigned. Kim is scheduled to return to court on October 14 for a probable cause conference.

Kim and Eminem, 53, were married from 1999 to 2001 and later for three months in 2006.
