Air Force presidential fleet being transformed into Trump’s signature red, gold and blue color scheme

News RoomBy News RoomFebruary 17, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

The presidential airplane fleet is getting a spiffy new look, featuring President Trump’s favorite golden hue.

The fleet of planes used to transport the commander-in-chief, vice president, first lady and other top White House officials will be painted in Trump’s preferred red, gold and blue color scheme — the same colors that decorate his private jet known as “Trump Force One.”

An Air Force Two jet, which is typically used to transport the VP, is already sporting the fresh paint job, according to pics. An online sleuth caught the Boeing C-32A flying from Majors Airport in Greenville, Texas — where much of the maintenance and upgrades on the presidential fleet is performed — and posted the images online.

The jet is painted white with dark blue on its underbelly, separated by red and gold lines, the new photos revealed. A large American flag, depicted blowing in the wind, is featured on the tail wing, just like on Trump’s personal plane.

The plane will be rotated back into use in the next few months, an Air Force spokesperson told The Post.

The Air Force currently has eight C-32As in its inventory. Four of them will be repainted to Trump’s palette.

It’s unclear how much the repainting jobs cost. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The new aircraft that will replace Air Force One’s aging fleet will also be cloaked in Trump’s hand-picked colors when rolled out.

The new planes — designated as VC-25B, which is the Department of War’s version of the Boeing 747 — are set to replace the aging aircraft that have served presidents since George H.W. Bush’s administration and will be painted in Trump’s red, blue and gold colors, the Air Force said.

“The Air Force is implementing a new paint scheme requirement (red, white, gold and dark blue) for VC-25B as well as the additional executive airlift fleet,” an Air Force spokesperson told The Post.

The president has long pushed for a patriotic color scheme on the official Air Force fleet.

The new Trump colors are replacing the classic robin-egg blue and white colors — handpicked by former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy — that have been the signature design of the presidential plane since John F Kennedy’s administration.

Some government planes  — particularly those used by the Department of Homeland Security — are already wearing Trump’s signature colors. One of those planes was used by First Lady Melania Trump in December to travel to Mar-a-Lago.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem also used one of the new Gulfstream 700s to fly to Arizona in February for an official event.

Also being painted in Trump’s colors is the donated Qatari jet that the president is having converted to serve as the presidential plane while the work on the new Boeing Air Force One jets — which is behind schedule and over budget — continues. The converted plane is expected to be ready for use this summer.

Meanwhile, many other planes in the VIP and presidential fleet are being repainted in those colors as they head into base for maintenance, the Air Force said.

Trump has made clear he wants the presidential fleet, which transports high-ranking government officials, to wear his signature navy blue, deep red and gold colors.

In his first term, he ordered the Boeing planes being built as new Air Force Ones to be painted in his design. Former President Joe Biden reversed that order when he entered. Now, Trump, in his second term, has put it back in place.
