Charles Barkley in shock over Sydney Sweeney NBA Finals Game 5 appearance

News RoomBy News RoomJune 13, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Charles Barkley had something to say about the Game 5 Knicks-Spurs celebrity guest list.

Prior to tip-off for the Knicks’ first chance in these NBA Finals to bring home a championship — their first in 53 years — the Hall of Famer and “Inside the NBA” co-host made a comment as the broadcast showcased the famous faces at Frost Bank Arena on Saturday night.

The clips started with showing Sydney Sweeney in the stands followed by Tracy Morgan, Allan Houston, Avery Johnson and Patrick Ewing.

In a delayed reaction, Barkley said “Sydney Sweeney is here?”

“Everybody is a New York Knicks fan now,” he added.

Sweeney, who was with boyfriend Scooter Braun in San Antonio, is among a group of usual Knicks fans to travel to San Antonio for the decisive Game 5.

Ben Stiller, Timothée Chalamet and Spike Lee all made the trip.

John Turturro, “Marty Supreme” director Josh Safdie, Cam Skattebo and Fat Joe also were in attendance.

If the Knicks fall short of closing the series Saturday night, the NBA Finals will return to the Garden on Tuesday for a Game 6.
