Zachery Ty Bryan’s Fiancee Johnnie Faye Cartwright Back in Custody After Violating Terms of Her Release (Exclusive)

News RoomBy News RoomDecember 17, 20251 ViewsNo Comments

Zachery Ty Bryan‘s fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, is back in police custody after allegedly attempting to run the actor over in her vehicle, Us Weekly can confirm.

According to documents obtained by Us on Tuesday, December 16, Cartwright, 32, was denied her motion to modify a pre-trial release agreement put in place in Eugene, Oregon, on December 3.

The news comes after Us exclusively confirmed on Friday, December 12, that a warrant for her arrest was issued that day after Cartwright allegedly violated the terms of her release following the November 29 incident.

Cartwright is scheduled to appear at another hearing on Thursday, December 18.

Both Cartwright and Bryan, 44, were arrested on November 29 in the Fall Creek area of Oregon.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office released a Facebook statement at the time that detailed the event. “On November 29th at about 12:30 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of reckless endangering in the area of Big Fall Creek Road milepost 5, a popular camping area northeast of Lowell,” the statement read. “Deputies learned Zachery Ty Bryan, 44, of Eugene, was in a pickup truck with Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, of Eugene, and their three small children. They were driving together in the area.”

The statement noted that Bryan got out of the truck at some stage and began walking on the road. “Cartwright then attempted to run over Bryan, crashing the truck with the children inside into the ditch,” the statement continued. “Bryan was able to move out of the way and avoid injury. No one inside the pickup was injured.”

The statement also noted that authorities allegedly observed signs that both Cartwright and Bryan “were impaired.”

While Bryan was arrested for allegedly violating probation as a result of a prior assault conviction, and released from police custody on December 10, Cartwright was arraigned on December 1. She pleaded not guilty to one count of driving under the influence, two counts of recklessly endangering another person and three counts of reckless driving. (Bryan has denied the allegations against him and has since been “cleared,” per reporting by People.)

According to a December 10 affidavit, exclusively obtained by Us at the time, Cartwright “failed to reside at the approved alternate address” she was released to following the incident, and “admitted to [a] pretrial release officer that they stayed at an unapproved address without prior approval.”

The warrant for Cartwright’s arrest was issued two days after the affidavit filing.

Per court documents also obtained by Us, Cartwright’s initial pre-trial release came with additional conditions, including not communicating with Bryan. She was also instructed to use an alcohol monitor. (Per the United States Pretrial Services Agency, a “pre-trial release” refers to a situation in which a person accused of a crime is released into the community before their trial. It often comes with court-ordered conditions that can span wearing an ankle monitor, home confinement, ensuring court attendance and more.)

The former child star and Cartwright, who announced their engagement in November 2021, share three children: a daughter, born in April 2022, and twins, born in May 2023.

Cartwright is a former model and also worked as a jetpack instructor in Newport Beach for three years, per her Facebook profile.
