Zach Bryan Calls Out ‘Karens’ After Ending Concert Early Due to Weather: ‘F***n Lightning Bolts’

News RoomBy News RoomApril 26, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Zach Bryan ended his Saturday, April 25, concert early due to unexpected thunderstorms — and has a message for any fan who wasn’t thrilled.

“I’m sorry for cutting the set short tonight!” Bryan, 30, wrote via X on Sunday, April 26, sharing the show’s setlist. “Lightening [sic] came in fast! We only missed the last six! I love you guys, the rain was a blast.”

In a follow-up tweet, Bryan shared a photo of a lightning bolt directly above the open-air stage at the Nebraska venue.

“There were f***n lighting bolts?? Above?? Our?? Heads??” Bryan captioned his photo.

One fan, however, was disappointed that Bryan’s show ended earlier than planned.

“Partial refunds need to be given,” the social media user claimed. “I know a lot of this was out of your control, but we got half a show. Very disappointing.”

Bryan hit back at the fan’s comment, replying, “Karen ahhhh tweet.”

The individual, meanwhile, stood by her message.

“Would’ve liked to see [Kings of Leon, the opening act] and gotten in the stadium safely,” she tweeted. “It was completely unsafe trying to get that many people in within 45min to an hour. That is my biggest issue with this all. So a Karen I will be, I guess.”

Bryan brought his With Heaven on Tour shows to Lincoln, Nebraska, on Saturday. The show’s start was also delayed due to the weather.

“Due to impending thunderstorms, we are delaying opening doors to the show until the weather has passed,” he tweeted earlier on Saturday. “Please stay tuned for updates. The show must go on.”

An hour later, Bryan thanked venue staff for keeping his fans safe.

“Thank you to the Husker faculty and fans for being patient and working their butts off to make sure the show still happens,” he wrote via X. “We’ll make it worth it! Owe you guys so big!”

Bryan added, “To be clear, we’ve never been scared of rain in our life. We just gotta avoid the lightening [sic] for the safety of everyone.”

The “Something in the Orange” singer recently canceled a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, due to weather.

“To my fellow Oklahomans, I am being forced by my team to cancel the show tonight due to the threat of extreme and dangerous weather,” he wrote via X on April 3. “I’ve never canceled a show in my life but I, unfortunately, don’t have a choice in the matter.”

Bryan offered refunds to fans with tickets, returning to the stage the next night as planned.
