You won’t believe the stars who showed up for USA-Turkey battle at 2026 World Cup

News RoomBy News RoomJune 26, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Thursday’s showdown between the United States and Turkey, won 3-2 by Turkey, at SoFi Stadium felt less like a World Cup match and more like a who’s who of Hollywood celebrities.

The finale of Group D that was part celebration for the Americans winning the group and advancing to the knockout stage and part circus as Team USA soccer has captivated the country with their performances on the pitch.

Naturally, Thursday’s match was one of the hottest tickets in Hollywood, drawing an A-list crowd that could rival any movie premiere or even the Super Bowl.

Everywhere you looked there was another familiar face.

Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Edward Norton, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Colin Farrell, Kelly Rowland, Keegan-Michael Key, BIA, Joey King, Allison Brie, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Malin Ackerman, Ben Affleck, Jaime Camil, Lance Bass, Drew Carey, Owen Wilson, Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton all took in the action from luxury suites and field-level seats as Team USA closed out group play in front of another sellout crowd of 70,492 fans wearing red, white, and blue.

The sports world wasn’t about to miss the party either.

Los Angeles Rams stars Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua made the trip to support the Americans, while Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto and Dodgers pitchers Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow swapped the baseball diamond for the world’s biggest soccer stage.

Basketball Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, NBA champion Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union were also among those soaking in the World Cup atmosphere.

Soccer royalty had one of the best views in the house as well.

United States legends Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Robbie Keane, Julie Johnston, Clint Dempsey and Alexi Lalas joined international icons Thierry Henry, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hugo Lloris in watching Mauricio Pochettino’s squad continue its World Cup journey.

And those were only the celebrities The Post actually spotted.

With cameras constantly panning the suites and sideline seating, it became a running game inside the stadium to see who would appear next.

On a night when Team USA once again had the attention of the soccer world, Hollywood made sure it was watching too.
