Yellowstone alum Kelsey Asbille is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend, filmmaker and director Miles Joris-Peyrafitte.
A source exclusively confirms to Us that they shared their engagement news with a small circle. According to the insider, the couple got engaged in Sicily after Asbille finished filming her upcoming movie The Kellys with Liam Hemsworth and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Joris-Peyrafitte hinted he popped the question earlier this month in an Instagram post, which read, “Big year.” The social media upload included a photo of Asbille holding up a piece of paper while flashing jewelry on her ring finger. (Us has reached out to Asbille’s rep for comment.)
Asbille, who has remained largely tight-lipped about her personal life, dated Joris-Peyrafitte for several years before the milestone moment.
“I think I’m a private person,” she told the New York Post in 2023. “And I think maybe it helps, with being an actor, if [people] don’t know too much.”
The actress got her start on One Tree Hill, playing Gigi from 2005 to 2009. She then starred as Mikayla in Disney’s Pair of Kings before scoring the character of Tracy on MTV’s Teen Wolf from 2015 to 2016.
Asbille crossed paths with producer Taylor Sheridan on the set of his film Wind River, which paved the way for her role as Monica Long Dutton on Yellowstone. Over the show’s five seasons, Asbille shared scenes with Luke Grimes, who played her husband, Kayce.
Following her time on Yellowstone, Asbille will star opposite Schwarzenegger and Hemsworth in The Kellys. The action film has been acquired by Amazon MGM for worldwide release on streaming but character details are being kept under wraps.
Production was underway earlier this summer with The Kellys following Jack Kelly, a disgraced New York City cop whose wife, Molly, is taken hostage by terrorists inside an old armory building.
“Subsequently, he’ll have to join forces with the people he fears most to save her: His family,” the official synopsis read.
