‘I don’t know what to wear’ days happen to the best of Us, but if you want a throw-on-and-go outfit that makes you appear classy, put together and effortlessly rich, copy Martha Stewart. She wore a burgundy matching set, and we found the comfy-chic fall look for under $50.
Stewart revealed her fall QVC collection on Instagram, and although the lineup was great, our eyes went straight to her outfit. She rocked a wine red sweater and wide-leg pants set, aka the easiest rich mom uniform. The burgundy color alone does a lot of work but the real trick is the relaxed silhouette, and we had to get our hands on the style.

This PrettyGarden Two-Piece Lounge Set is nearly identical to Stewart’s pick. It even has the same dreamy, deep-red hue as hers! This Amazon find comes with a crewneck sweatshirt that features puffy lantern sleeves and drop shoulders. The wide-leg pants complete the set; it has stretchy waistband, real pockets and a straight-leg fit.
Even though this pick feels like sleepwear, it looks so pulled together that you’ll wear throw it on before heading out the house as well. In fact, one Amazon shopper who considers the set “comfy and stylish” wrote in a review, “Nice enough to wear out and about. Doesn’t looks like pajamas but comfy enough to lounge around in, too.”
Another happy fan summed up the appeal: “I wore it at Thanksgiving since we traveled a bit and it was very comfortable, and I got tons of compliments. Great for moms on the go [who] want to have a cute outfit and also be comfortable.”
Pair this wear-everywhere set with sneakers for school pickups, gold hoops for wine nights or long cardigans for lounging. It’s a chic, versatile outfit that dresses up and down when you do, so don’t be surprised if you wear it nonstop this fall — think errands, orchards and everything in between!
