Trump torches ‘stupid,’ ‘communist’ Dems, ‘ignorant’ media — after he subpoenas NY Times

News RoomBy News RoomJuly 11, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

President Trump tore into “stupid” Democrats and their pals in the lefty media — a day after his administration subpoenaed several New York Times journalists who had reported on the new Air Force One’s security capabilities.

Trump blasted the Gray Lady from his golf course in Sterling, Va., tearing into the “Failing New York Times” as well as star reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, who are promoting a book, “Regime Change,” that unearths internal conflict.

He repeatedly referred to Haberman, 52, as “maggot,” calling her “one of the most unattractive people in the News ‘Business,’ and called Swan, 40, her “lightweight assistant.”

He said the paper “spends all of its energy on negative stories about me,” but did not otherwise reference the report about Air Force One, which did not include a byline from either reporter. That story reported that Trump swapped to the older Air Force One after flying the Qatar-gifted Boeing 747 that got a $400 million refurbishment.

Trump also hailed his 2024 election win, labeled Democrats the “Dumocrat Party” and tore into multiple TV media outlets.

“All of their Readership, Ratings, and Viewership, are “tanking” because the Public understands they are, as I have said right from the beginning, “FAKE NEWS!” They have no credibility, or it would have been impossible for me to win with only bad stories, especially in a Historic Landslide.”

The president also torched the Democrat party for “going communist.”

“They are going COMMUNIST because they are a desperately “sinking ship,” and there’s not a thing they can do about it. Instead of writing inaccurate, false articles, for over 10 years now, shouldn’t it be time that they say, ‘We give up, we can’t beat him, there seems nothing we can do,’” he wrote.

The Times lawyers blasted the subpoena, which orders reporters to testify to a grand jury in Manhattan Wednesday.

Stephen J. Adler, chairman of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, blasted the move in a statement, saying it “crushed” the public’s right to know about its government.
