Tiger Woods’ return to the golf course is expected to come at TGL, when the indoor golf league tees off in late December.

The 15-time major winner is expected to compete for the Jupiter Links Golf Club, which Woods captains, when the team competes in the second match of the league’s opening day on Dec. 27, ESPN reported.

It comes after NBC Sports golf analyst and “Foreplay” podcast co-host Kevin Kisner reported on the Barstool Sports podcast last week that Woods was planning to take part in TGL’s full schedule this season.

Jupiter Links GC faces Los Angeles Golf Club in a rematch of last season’s finals and it would potentially mark the first competitive golf match that Woods will have taken part in since then.

Woods, 50, had only played in one match during the 2026 TGL season following back surgery, but he had been looking to return to the course for the Masters last April before finding himself in legal trouble after being arrested on suspicion of DUI after he rolled the Land Rover he was driving near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida, on March 27.

He later pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test, which also resulted in the suspension of his driver’s license for five years as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

Woods had stepped away from golf to go to treatment, reportedly in Switzerland, following the incident.

His last PGA Tour event took place at The Open in 2024 at Royal Troon, where he missed the cut.

There is a chance that Woods could compete in the Hero World Challenge taking place from Dec. 3-6. There are still three spots open in the field of 20 for the tournament that Woods hosts in the Bahamas.

He also could play with his son Charlie in the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida, taking place from Dec. 17 to 20.
