Halloween is rapidly approaching, and NFL players are showing off their costumes with their significant others.
San Francisco 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa’s girlfriend Ella Ailiff revealed their costumes for the holiday on her TikTok Tuesday morning.
Bosa and Ailiff were dressed as the Crimson Chin and his sidekick, Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder, from the Nickelodeon hit cartoon show “Fairly OddParents.”
Prior to the couple showing off their costume, Ailiff released a separate video of herself dressed as Cleft on Monday night, with the caption, “You either get me or you don’t.” In the comment section of the post, she posted a photo of the main character of the show, Timmy Turner, wearing the Cleft costume.
As San Francisco is preparing for the bye week after suffering their first loss of the season against the Falcons on Sunday, the two were dressed for the occasion because of the team’s annual Halloween party that took place on Monday night.
While the fans were in the comments section of their post, there were also other fans begging Ailiff to get Bosa back on the football field.
@Pizzzzatime commented on the post, “can you tell Bosa to pls play football again? we miss him. thank you pretty please!”
Since Sept. 25 Bosa has been sidelined with a calf injury.
The 49ers got good news on the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year on Tuesday morning when John Lynch appeared on KNBR and said he could return after the bye, when they face the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 8.
Over the last two seasons, Bosa has missed an extensive amount of time due to injuries — appearing in only three games last year until he tore his ACL against the Arizona Cardinals.
While the 49ers would like to have Bosa back, the need to rush him doesn’t feel so urgent anymore as the team is off to a 6-1 start and just bolstered its pass rush on Tuesday morning when they struck a trade with the Indianapolis Colts to reunite with DeForest Buckner.
