Summer House’s West Wilson and Kyle Cooke Filmed a 3-Hour Conversation Amid Amanda Batula Scandal

News RoomBy News RoomMay 26, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

West Wilson is detailing his recent filmed conversation with Summer House costar Kyle Cooke after confirming his romance with Kyle’s estranged wife, Amanda Batula.

During the Monday, May 25, episode of the “Show Me Something” podcast, which West cohosts with WNBA player Sophie Cunningham, the reality star, 31, confirmed that he sat down with Kyle, 43, last week to discuss the scandal that has embroiled Summer House. (Kyle previously hinted that he was due to sit down with West one-on-one for the first time since news broke about his relationship with Amanda, 34, in March.)

“I’m not going to say [we’re] good. Nothing’s, like, perfect right now, but we talked for like three hours on Wednesday,” West shared. “I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say we filmed a scene or not. I don’t know if it was for Summer House or for In the City.”

“I offered. I was like, ‘Dude, I’m not trying to get to a better place with you for this f***ing show. I do care about you as a friend, and this doesn’t need to be filmed.’ Kyle was like, ‘This all happened. Our lives have been on camera. Might as well just film it,’” he continued.

According to West, the conversation was more civilized than their previous interaction at the Summer House season 10 reunion, which filmed in April and begins airing Tuesday, May 26, on Bravo.

“I’m glad we did [it] because it was obviously awkward and weird to start, but I think we made a lot of progress. It was not a gunfight. It was very calm and peaceful and trying to hear each other and get to a better place,” he said. “I really appreciate him doing that. One, just hearing me out, and two, being nice about it, and three, ending on that note will probably be better for me because it was a much better environment to talk about everything than the reunion was. When the reunion ends, odds are not great for me, so that opportunity, I really appreciate him for.”

Sophie, 29, asked West if it seemed like Kyle was in a “good spot” at the moment after a tumultuous start to 2026. Kyle and Amanda announced their separation after four years of marriage in January. In March, Amanda and West confirmed they were seeing one another.

“It would be weird if I said ‘yeah.’ He’s in a situation now that’s f***ing so bizarre and I’m half the reason he’s in it,” West responded. “But I do think there’s greener grass for him moving forward. Unfortunately, right now, it’s just a weird spot. … He’s been so great. It’s just a s***** situation.”

“The reunion isn’t, like, gentle by any means, but I think the reunion is a good chance for everyone to get it out of their system and everything can be more cordial after,” West added of the season 10 reunion and his hopes that he will be able to mend fences with his Summer House castmates moving forward.
