Shannon Beador’s Daughter Sophie Explains Why She Won’t Work at Bravo Despite NBC Career

News RoomBy News RoomMay 5, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Shannon Beador’s eldest daughter, Sophie Beador, has followed in her family’s footsteps with her NBC gig — but that doesn’t mean she’s going to join the Bravoverse

“It’s been fun to see both sides of NBC,” Sophie, 23, told fellow Real Housewives kid Gia Giudice during the Monday, May 4, episode of the “Casual Chaos” podcast.

Sophie explained that she works “more so the business side” of the entertainment business, in ad sales at NBCUniversal. For the uninitiated, NBCUniversal is the parent company of Bravo, home of The Real Housewives of Orange County. (Shannon, 62, has been part of the reality franchise since 2014’s season 9.)

When asked whether she’d want to pivot to Bravo, Sophie said joining the network is not on her radar because of the network’s connection to her mother.

“They’ve asked me, ‘Oh, would you ever think about moving over?’” Sophie revealed, noting that Shannon “definitely gets brought up at work” because she’s on TV screens and in ads that can be seen around the main office space.

Sophie remembered her bosses wondering, “Oh have you considered it?” to which she responded, “Yeah, I’ve considered it and I probably won’t be doing that because I don’t really want to hear her name at work.”

“As much as I love her, I don’t want to hear her name at work,” she confessed, referring to her reality star mom.

Sophie noted that if she did ever work at Bravo she would “of course” pitch her mom for various campaigns and promos. In fact, Sophie, who lives in New York City, said she has pals who work for the network and do just that.

“I have friends who work on Bravo. They do BravoCon. It’s a lot,” Sophie shared, adding that one of her friends has “pitched my mom for different things,” which has been “fun to hear about.”

As fans of RHOC know, Shannon was married to David Beador from 2000 to 2017. The exes share Sophie and twin daughters Adeline and Stella, now 21. (David, 61, also shares daughter Anna, 5, with wife Lesley Beador.)

Sophie graduated from Baylor University in Texas in May 2024 and moved to the Big Apple that fall. She is currently working as a digital sales planner at NBC Sports, according to her LinkedIn.

Adeline is also living in New York City while studying at Parsons School of Design. Stella, meanwhile, is a student at the University of Southern California but is living in Paris as part of their transfer program. She plans to complete her degree overseas.

“It’s so much fun to come to New York because two of the three live here,” Shannon told The Daily Dish in 2025. “Sophie just hit her one-year mark at her new job, and Adeline is going to be a junior at Parsons next year. So, you know, they’re both living their best life here in New York.”

She also confirmed that Stella “is doing her four years in Paris,” after getting a job giving tours. “She’s gonna be a junior, as well. They’re all having a ball, and I love to go and visit all three,” Shannon added.
