SF Dem gushes over far-left streamer who told elderly Vietnamese refugee to ‘suck my d—’

News RoomBy News RoomApril 8, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

Congressional candidate Saikat Chakrabarti spent time with online personality Hasan Piker last week at the treasured Key Food Market liquor store in San Francisco — gushing over the controversial far-left streamer as a “friend” and “good person.”

The duo’s stop at the store came days before unearthed videos showed Piker going on expletive-filled rants against Asian Americans, calling them “dogs for white people” and telling a female Vietnamese refugee to “suck my d–, old lady” for explaining why some in her community voted for President Donald Trump.

Chakrabarti, a former staffer of left-wing darling Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, embraced his association with Piker. The millionaire is running to replace former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to represent San Francisco, a city where Asians make up around a third of the population.

A request for comment to Chakrabarti on the videos wasn’t immediately returned.

The candidate posted a reel of his hangout with Piker on his campaign account on April 4. The two can be seen entering Key Food Market, when Chakrabarti tells the owner, “I brought a friend.”

The two play with the owner’s cat, which then jumps on Piker’s shoulders.

“That’s how you know you’re a good person, when a cat wants to jump on you, right?” Chakrabarti commented.

Later, Piker seemingly endorses Chakrabarti, telling the owner, “You got to get his back,” while pointing to the candidate.

In a later stream, Piker reacted to the video of their hangout. He said Chakrabarti was showing the left-wing streamer around San Francisco’s landmarks after Piker did a speech at the University of San Francisco Law School.

The candidate has hung with the streamer in the past as well, showing up on his stream earlier in the year. Chakrabarti touted his progressive goals during his appearance and apparently won over Piker.

Piker gushed then that Chakrabarti was “knocking it out of the park for every question.”

“Stop! You’re doing this on purpose,” the streamer exclaimed. “I gotta grab a drink.”

Chakrabarti is running against state Sen. Scott Wiener and Supervisor Connie Chan for the congressional seat.
