Selena Gomez is reflecting on her latest trip around the sun by sending her fans a heartfelt message.
“As I prepare to celebrate my 33rd birthday, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here. This past year has truly been the most beautiful year of my life, and I owe so much of that to all of you,” Gomez, 32, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, July 20.
Gomez — who turns 33 on Tuesday, July 22 — shared her gratitude to her followers for their “unwavering love and kindness.”
“Whether you cheered me on from the sidelines, shared in my highs and lows, or simply offered a listening ear, you have made this year unforgettable. I am extremely humbled and insanely appreciative of all your love,” she wrote.
Gomez continued, “As I step into this new year, I’m filled with excitement and hope for what’s to come. I look forward to sharing more moments with all of you, creating new memories, and continuing this beautiful journey together. MADLY LOVE YOU ALL 🥳.”
Alongside the message, Gomez shared a series of snaps from a recent celebration where she rocked a jumpsuit adorned with sequins and featuring a deep v-neckline. In one image, Gomez posed with BFF Taylor Swift, while in another, Gomez locked lips with fiancé Benny Blanco.
Gomez’s year has certainly been a monumental one. In December 2024, Gomez and Blanco, 37, announced they were engaged after more than one year of dating. While the pair can’t wait to walk down the aisle, Blanco explained that wedding planning has been on the slower side.
“We’re both working on so many things that we haven’t even had time to get into it but we’re so excited,” Blanco said on an episode of the “Therapuss with Jake Shane” podcast earlier this month. “I think this summer, we’re going to sit down and be like, ‘OK, what are we doing hun?’”
He continued, “We’ve both been working so much. We got engaged and then it’s holidays and then we had to start all the promo for our stuff. Then she left to film her show, Only Murders [in the Building], and then I met her and we hung out for a week and then it’s promo and then I’m writing another book.”
Despite the slow start, Blanco is confident their nuptials will be one to remember. “It will be chill,” he said. “It will be amazing.”
