PORT ST. LUCIE — The good news for the Mets is all of their starters stayed healthy. 

The bad news is they all stayed healthy. 

Six weeks ago, the Mets could have assumed that spring training attrition would take care of the math of turning six starters into five — as it did last year when eight became five with Paul Blackburn, Sean Manaea and Frankie Montas all beginning on the injured list. 

Instead, it was performance.
