One MLB player took advantage of the All-Star break during what is a demanding, long season.
Red Sox pitcher Payton Tolle tied the knot with now-wife Devin on Wednesday night in Boston, and the two had their reception at Arya Trattoria in the North End.
Devin shared a video to her Instagram story of the couple sharing a kiss and smiling at each other on their big day.
The two also posed for a photo with Arya Trattoria owner Massimo Tiberi, which he shared on Instagram.
A user commented “We and our entire family were treated like we were important, like it mattered that we have the best time ever. Thank you!”
Tolle popped the question to Devin in March during spring training in Florida with a beautiful east-west emerald diamond ring.
The two shared photo booth strips of the moment, including a video of them kissing and smiling in the booth as Devin showed off her ring.
“We all saw this coming,” Devin wrote in the Instagram post.
Pictures of the couple date back to 2025 on Devin’s Instagram.
After spring training and her engagement, she shared an appreciation post for Florida featuring various photos of her and her now-husband, engagement shot and baseball fields.
“i think i’m starting to like florida🫶” she wrote as the caption.
She is currently the parent and family programs coordinator at the University of Oklahoma, her alma mater, per Sportskeeda.
Tolle, 23, was selected in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft by Boston out of TCU.
The lefty has 3.11 ERA this season across 15 starts, with 87 strikeouts in 84 innings.
