Podcaster Hila Klein has filed for divorce from husband Ethan Klein two weeks after publicly accusing him of having an affair.
TMZ and Page Six reported on Monday, November 2, that Hila, 38, is looking to end her 14-year marriage, citing court documents. Hila reportedly listed the date of the marriage as October 10, 2012, and the date of separation as October 13, 2026.
The “H3 Podcast” cohost is asking for joint custody of the couple’s three sons — Theodore, 7, Bruce, 4, and Sunny, 2 — as well as seeking spousal support, TMZ reported.
Hila is also reportedly asking for Ethan, 41, to cover her legal fees and wants her maiden name — Hacmon — to be restored.
She is said to be represented by divorce attorney Laura Wasser, who has previously represented Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Johnny Depp.
On October 23, Hila publicly accused her husband of having an affair in an Instagram post.
“I am living in a nightmare I can’t wake up from. My husband has been having an affair. I have been fed lie after lie after lie for months. I am tired of lies,” she wrote at the time.
Hila shared that she “could sense something was wrong” in her marriage and “tried to ask [Ethan] questions and share my concerns and hurt feelings,” but “I was met with dismissive answers and no action. Things that bothered me continued to bother me, and he did nothing about it. So I trusted him. Because I loved him.”
“Eventually, he was caught in a lie, and I knew I was done. But the lies continued. ‘It was just a kiss’ became ‘it was emotional cheating,’” Hila wrote. “After I dragged these lies from him, he finally admitted he’d been in an affair for over 6 months, the extent of which I’m sure I still don’t know.”
“The betrayal I feel is immeasurable,” she continued. “The person I loved and trusted for 20 years evaporated overnight. He was my safe place, my partner in marriage, parenting, and business. My only family on this side of the world. How do I even begin to make sense of this?”
Hila said she and Ethan were separated and that she was focused on “taking care of myself and my children, one day at a time.”
Ethan responded in an Instagram Story, writing, “I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me, but I ask that you please respect my family’s privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments.”
