Mika Abdalla and Josh Heuston have taken their Off Campus chemistry off-screen — and now they’re officially a couple.
The costars, who met on the set of Prime Video’s hockey romance series, made their debut as a pair at Valentino’s Paris Fashion Week presentation in October 2026, months after Us exclusively confirmed their budding romance.
Scroll below for Abdalla and Heuston’s relationship timeline:
2025
Abdalla and Heuston met as costars during season 1 of Off Campus, which was filmed in 2025 and premiered on Prime Video the next year. Based on Elle Kennedy‘s book series, the show centers on an elite collegiate ice hockey team and the women in their lives.
The first season followed the love story between Hannah Wells (Ella Bright) and Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli), with Heuston’s character, Justin Kohl, rounding out their love triangle. Abdalla, for her part, played Hannah’s BFF Allie Hayes, whose love interest in the book series is Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn). Allie and Justin were not paired romantically onscreen.
Abdalla and Kalyn’s characters will take the lead in season 2, which was filmed less than a year after the series premiere. Heuston, meanwhile, is not expected to appear but hasn’t ruled out a future cameo.
“I just hope Justin finds love and continues to be happy while writing music,” he exclusively told Us of his hopes for his character. “Justin is following his heart. He’s a little lover boy at heart. I think things went the way that they went, but I think he’ll just continue to do that. He’ll probably go write some nice music about how heartbroken he is and then come back and try to find his love.”

Before Heuston entered the picture, Abdalla was engaged to fellow actor Jake Short, whom she began dating after meeting on the set of Sex Appeal in 2021. Us broke the news of their split shortly after the Off Campus season 1 premiere.
“Because of the immense curiosity about Mika’s personal life and in light of numerous erroneous reports, I can clarify that Mika and Jake are no longer in a relationship,” Abdalla’s rep told Us in a statement at the time. “They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect.”
Weeks later, Abdalla and Heuston were spotted in Paris together, and a source confirmed to Us that the two costars were dating.
October 2026
Abdalla and Heuston jointly attended Valentino’s Paris Fashion Week presentation at the Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, marking their public debut as a couple.
For the occasion, Abdalla wore a flowy lime-green frock paired with a lilac flower on her shoulder, while Heuston opted for a gray knit sweater and charcoal-color trousers. Both attended on behalf of Valentino Beauty and wore the brand’s new Born in Roma Rendez Vous Ruby fragrance.
