Next Gen NYC’s Georgia McCann is not looking back when it comes to her split from Omar Zaki.
“There’s always stuff that’s not going to be shown, but I don’t know. It was not the right fit,” Georgia, 25, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at DIRECTV’s Plot Twist featuring Bravo party on Tuesday, August 12. “I’ve moved on. I’m chill about it.”
During the July 22 finale of Next Gen NYC, viewers learned that Georgia and Omar had split.
“Life is so funny ‘cause one day you’re living in a $10,000 monthly apartment,” she claimed in a TikTok video that appeared on the Bravo reality show. “You’re with this man who you think you’re going to marry, and [then] you get into a fight one night.”
While the breakup happened long before the episode aired, Georgia found it unique to have to relive the experience on the small screen.
“It’s really funny too because by the time the episode was airing, I was very over it and removed from the situation, and now it’s resurfacing so that’s kind of trippy,” she told Us at The Perch by Skylight atop PENN 2 in New York City. “But it’s chill.”
Although Bravo hasn’t officially greenlit a season 2, Next Gen NYC became the network’s most-watched series premiere of all time, per Deadline.
When asked for a reaction if Omar were to appear on season 2, Georgia said, “I honestly don’t care.”
In fact, she’d be open to bringing a new man onto the show if she finds a boyfriend before filming.
“Would I bring someone on? Why not?” she said while wearing a vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress.
For now, Georgia is focused on the future of Channel 1, an underground events company she runs with Daniela Miles.
“We’re going to do a big Channel 1 party sometime in the fall, and then a couple of other surprises as well,” she teased to Bravo’s The Daily Dish in an interview published August 13. “But, yeah, we’re just focusing on world domination at this point and nothing else.”
As for Omar, he has returned to Instagram and was recently spotted hanging out with Next Gen NYC star Charlie Zakkour.
“Hey, I’m back — working hard and traveling the world,” Omar wrote via Instagram on June 23. “Excited to finally start sharing a bit more.”
Next Gen NYC season 1 is available to stream now on Peacock.
