Netanyahu claims Mamdani ‘celebrated’ Oct. 7, supported ‘Hamas murderers’ as he pushes back on arrest fiasco

News RoomBy News RoomJuly 26, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blasted Mayor Zohran Mamdani days — claiming Sunday that Hizzoner sided with “Hamas murderers” and their horrific actions in the Oct. 7, 2023 terror attacks.

Netanyahu’s comments came days after Hizzoner admitted he didn’t have the legal authority to arrest the PM, with the leader of the Jewish State even claiming without evidence that Mamdani celebrated the attacks.

“What Mamdani is supporting, his wife, his family — he celebrated Oct. 7 massacre, the worst massacre against Jews since the Holocaust,” Netanyahu told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Netanyahu, 76, bristled at Mamdani’s push to arrest him though he didn’t present evidence that Mamdani, 34, was actually celebrating the attack. During a recent press conference, Hizzoner said, “I consider October 7 to be a horrific war crime.”

His wife, Rama Duwaji, a Syrian-American artist, has a history of cheering on Palestinian militants in past social media posts.

She infamously liked several posts on Instagram on Oct. 7, 2023 that had slogans such as “systemic change for collective liberation” and “Free Palestine” right after the attack took place.

“[I]f and when the occupation forces retaliate against this resistance,” said one of the posts that she had liked. ”Punished for wanting freedom from apartheid.”

Back in April, Duwaji apologized for “the hurt I caused” and said she has “a lot of shame being confronted with language I used that is so harmful to others,” when pressed about some of her past social media posts that were unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon.

Netanyahu further accused Mamdani of “supporting the Hamas murderers, who raped our women, then beheaded them, burnt babies alive, slaughtered our men, took innocent people hostages, 251 men, women, children, babies.

“They’re the ones who are responsible for genocide,” Netanyahu said of Hamas. “What we’re doing is try to fight this genocidal terrorist organization that embeds itself among civilians, prevents us from moving the civilians out of harm’s way.”

“Mamdani is aligning himself with the criminals, with these murderers.”

Hizonner has long accused Netanyahu of being responsible for “genocide” in the Gaza Strip due to Israel’s response to the Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attack.

The Post contacted the mayor’s office for comment.

Mamdani campaigned heavily against Israel during his mayoral run last year and has backed the International Criminal Court in slapping an arrest warrant against the Israeli leader.

Despite toying with the idea of arresting Netanyahu should the Israeli PM set foot in the Big Apple, Mamdani conceded last week that he lacks the authority to do so.

Netanyahu is expected to travel to New York for the United Nations General Assembly gathering in September.
