Most dateable people in tech revealed in new San Francisco ranking — as they’re brutally trolled

A new website has ranked San Francisco’s most “dateable” tech hotties — but not everyone has hearts in their eyes.

The “San Francisco Hot List,” created by dating-app entrepreneur Celeste Amadon, features a handful of techies nominated by peers for their extraordinary combination of beauty and brains.

The selection criteria included attraction, ambition, accomplishment, reputation and “aura,” according to Amadon, who co-founded the dating app Known, a “swipeless” dating app that uses AI to match users.

Many of the knockouts deemed hot enough for the list — 19 total as of Thursday — are tech founders or engineers in the city’s booming artificial intelligence sector.

The picks included Dara Ladjevardian, founder of Delphi, which is touted as the world’s first “digital cloning platform.”

Other on the list include Google employee Ariana Pineda, Liquid Labs founder Enzo Coglitore, and Jaspar Carmichael-Jack, CEO of Artisan, an AI firm behind a widely despised billboard campaign urging companies to “stop hiring humans.”

Amadon’s Monday post on X teasing the list had attracted more than 2.4 million views as of Thursday afternoon.

While some praised the dating guru’s marketing acumen, others branded the list “rage bait.”

“Every single thing that comes out of this god forsaken hellhole is so f—ing cringe it’s actually insane,” wrote one person on X.

“I hate to be the guy, but if they are so dateable, how come they are single?” wondered Aleks Bykhun, a fellow San Francisco techie.

Others echoed the oft-repeated joke that the city is a far cry from metros like Los Angeles or New York City in the looks department.

“This list is literally just your average Tuesday at an Erewhon hot bar line,” wrote one Los Angeles-based tech founder.

Meanwhile, the AI sector has pushed San Francisco housing demand to dizzying new heights as median rents for a 2-bedroom top $6,000 per month and realtors report a severe shortage of mansions to house a bumper crop of tech millionaires.
