It turns out Meghan Markle loves winter whites just as much as we do. Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex introduced As Ever’s advent calendar, wearing a luxurious white crewneck sweater, instantly inspiring Us to give our cold-weather wardrobe a royal refresh. Luckily, you don’t have to splurge to create her endlessly elegant look.
While the royal fashionista’s holiday-inspired sweater costs a whopping $700, we found a near-identical style at Quince for less than $40. With the same chic crewneck design and pristine white polish, the budget-friendly knit delivers all the same quiet-luxury vibes for a major fraction of the price.

Made with 100% organic cotton, this Quince crewneck sweater has a boyfriend-style fit that’s perfect for achieving that coveted rich-mom look. The roomy silhouette — complete with a cropped fit and ribbed detail at the neckline, hem and sleeves — fits beautifully without adding unnecessary bulk. However, if you want a more fitted look, simply size down.
Markle paired her pricey designer sweater with a silk skirt, pink ballet flats and minimalist accessories, but this quiet-luxury sweater would look equally fitting dressed up or down. Style the soft top with tailored trousers and leather loafers for a polished, office-ready ensemble or embrace fall layering with your favorite jeans, a light barn coat and chunky ankle boots. Either way, you’ll look like you spent a fortune without actually doing so.
In true Quince fashion, shoppers are downright obsessed with this cozy rich mom sweater, with reviewers saying the oversized layer is “super comfortable” and “one of their favorite fall sweaters.”
“The boyfriend crew has a great cut and fabric and [it’s] so affordably priced to get in a lot of colors,” one 5-star shopper wrote. “It’s also versatile enough to wear multiple seasons. I ordered my usual size for the slightly oversized look. The crop length keeps it from looking sloppy.”
Another reviewer called the crewneck piece their “fave of all the Quince sweaters,” noting that the “relaxed fit and the high-low hemline are flattering.”
“I picked my true size, and it’s still quite roomy,” they added.
Though we don’t have the same shopping budget as Markle, that doesn’t mean we can’t rock chic winter whites. For less than $45, this chic fall sweater delivers all the quiet-luxury appeal of the royal’s $700 style — and that’s a bargain we can’t ignore.
