Mauricio Umansky is not a fan of Lala Kent after she exposed him for sliding in her DMs.
“She’s such a f***ing liar. It’s not even funny, dude” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, told TMZ on Wednesday, May 13. “I was thinking about actually posting the post, but I’m gonna tell you, she’s a liar.”
He continued, “I did message her because she was talking s***. I said, ‘Hey, you want to talk s*** about me? I’ll f***ing talk to you.’ And she said on the podcast that she never opened the text.”
Mauricio claimed that he was going to post their messages as proof.
“The last word on my text — and it’s a long text — says, ‘Let’s have coffee.’ In her podcast, she says I invited [her] to have coffee,” he added. “The only way she knew that I invited her to have a coffee is if she would have opened the f***ing text.”
Mauricio clarified that she didn’t want to “talk s***” about Lala, 35, calling the entire situation “f***ing bulls***.”
During the May 6 episode of the “Untraditionally Lala” podcast, the Vanderpump Rules alum claimed that she had gotten “the weirdest DM” from Mauricio saying “he would like to grab a coffee.” Lala claimed she “never” opened the message or responded.
“There’s not a chance,” she added. “I don’t even know what I was saying about him on the podcast at that time.”
Lala said, “I’m certainly not going to be caught out having coffee with you. That’s not gonna happen.”
Lala said there were “so many other podcasts” discussing Mauricio over the past few years following the July 2023 news that he and Kyle Richards had separated after 27 years of marriage.
“We’ll all grab a coffee,” she added. “You can try to win us all over.”
Following Mauricio’s interview with TMZ on Wednesday, the outlet obtained the alleged Instagram message that he sent to Lala in February 2024.
“Hey Lala how are you?” he appeared to write at the time. “Hey l am wondering since you seem to have an opinion and speculations about me as to whether l am a player or not I would like to talk to you.”
The Instagram message did not appear to be marked as “seen,” and there was no reply from Lala.
“Let me know if you are up for that,” the message concluded. “By phone or happy to get a coffee?”
