Eagles fans are already in their feelings about their team’s fourth-quarter collapse against the Rams on Sunday.
The last thing they need is Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, rubbing salt in that wound. But that’s exactly what she did with a post to her Instagram Story in the aftermath of Sunday’s game.
She posted a video of Rams running back Kyren Williams’ game-winning touchdown that capped off Los Angeles’ comeback.
“SORRY PHILLY 🦅❌ / By any freaking means, get your butt into the endzone / HE DID THAT / @kyren.williams” the post was captioned.
Stafford finished with 317 passing yards but didn’t throw a touchdown pass and had two interceptions. But the bottom line is that he and his Los Angeles teammates managed to come back and win the game, despite looking dead to rights about midway through the fourth quarter.
This win brings the Rams’ record to 2-2 on the season. Not the record most people predicted for Los Angeles through the season’s first month but still a whole lot better than being 1-3, which they nearly were if the Eagles didn’t fumble Sunday’s game away.
Stafford and the Rams will look to improve to 3-2 against the Bills on “Monday Night Football” next week.
