Kentucky hits miracle 3 to force overtime against Santa Clara in bonkers March Madness clash

News RoomBy News RoomMarch 20, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

You’ll be seeing that shot in “One Shining Moment.”

Kentucky star Otega Oweh hit a miracle 3-pointer with less than one second left to send Friday’s first-round game in the NCAA Tournament against Santa Clara to overtime.

Santa Clara’s Allen Graves had just hit a 3-pointer with three seconds remaining to take a 73-70 lead, but Oweh provided the shot, thus far, of March Madness 2026.

Kentucky quickly inbounded the ball and Oteh raised up from roughly the midcourt logo to tie the game and cause pandemonium in St. Louis.

The winner of this game meets the victor from the Iowa State vs. Tennessee State contest.
