Channel will air a town hall event with Vice President JD Vance on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET during “Jesse Watters Primetime,” the network announced on Monday.
Jesse Watters will moderate the pre-taped, one-hour event in Fort Worth, Texas, allowing Vance to speak directly to Americans ahead of the midterm elections. The town hall will focus on critical issues affecting the nation less than one week out from Election Day.
The town hall comes as Texas hasn’t gone blue in a statewide race in more than 30 years, but that streak could face a serious test this year as Democrat James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton are in a highly contested battle to replace longtime Sen. John Cornyn, who lost the GOP primary to Paxton.

Texans will also choose between incumbent Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and his Democratic challenger, Gina Hinojosa.
In 2024, President Donald Trump won the Lone Star State by nearly 14 points, continuing a lengthy GOP winning streak in the state.
A Democrat has not won a Texas U.S. Senate seat since 1988 or the state governor’s race since 1990.
