Jason Oppenheim Reacts to Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa’s ‘Selling Sunset’ Returns

News RoomBy News RoomMay 12, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Jason Oppenheim has a different mindset going into Selling Sunset season 10 — especially with the return of Christine Quinn and Heather Rae El Moussa on the horizon.

“I think I’m more excited about this season than probably any season ever,” Jason, 49, told TMZ on Monday, May 11. “The first few seasons I was anxious and nervous, and then I was more stressed the last few seasons.”

Jason said he was “honestly really excited” for the return of Christine, 37, and Heather, 38, after their brief hiatuses from the show.

“I love those two, I love having some OGs back,” Jason continued on Monday. “I think this season’s going to be awesome. I’m really, honestly, looking forward to it.”

Jason said on Monday he was “glad” that the show’s producers wanted them back just as much as he did.

“I think they’re great,” he continued. “Eveyone loves Heather, come on. Christine, I think, was great for the show. I think she was one of the salient reasons that the show did so well and blew up. She deserves a lot of credit for that.”

Jason teased that Christine is “in a better place” upon her return, noting that he saw her recently.

“I’m just really happy to have her back,” he added, noting that Selling Sunset “always seems to be” filled with drama no matter who is part of the cast.

“I don’t know where it comes from,” he said. “It always seems to come out of the woodwork every season, but we have some insane real estate this season.”

Us Weekly broke the news in March that both Christine and Heather would be making their Selling Sunset return for the show’s milestone 10th season.

“Christine is coming back,” a source told Us at the time, noting that filming was “delayed” because production was waiting for her to “finish negotiations” for a new contract.

Christine took a four-year break from the show, with her last episode airing during season 5 in April 2022. Heather, meanwhile, exited in 2023.

Their respective returns come after Nicole Young, Chelsea Lazkani and Chrishell Stause departed the series.

Chrishell, 44, announced in November 2025 that she would not be returning for season 10. “It’s no longer good for my mental health,” she told Bustle at the time.

Along with the returns of Christine and Heather, fans will meet new agent Tara Sarbaz. An insider told Us that she will be “full-time and has worked with Jason before.”
