Isaac Rochell Explains How His Neighbors Will Impact ‘Mormon Wives’ OC Spinoff: ‘So Juicy’

News RoomBy News RoomMay 3, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Isaac Rochell and wife Allison Kuch have enjoyed a front-row seat to the upcoming Secret Lives of Mormon Wives spinoff in Orange County — and he’s convinced his neighbors are going to impact the highly-anticipated show.

“We’re in Orange County. We know half the people on this show. Oh my God, it’s just so juicy,” Rochell, 31, teased on the Sunday, May 3, episode of the “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. “I’m telling you right now, I’m going to be next level sat. It’s funny, where I’m sitting right now, they literally filmed an episode — like, could throw a rock where they filmed the episode. It is juicy.”

He continued, “We’ve got the keys to the castle. I know all the information. It’s going to be really juicy to just watch how things unfold, watch just the perception of everything. And just really, be able to sit in our bed and eat popcorn and relax and not be part of the drama and just watch it. Curious how they do that.”

Rochell pointed out that while fans of Mormon Wives have not necessarily welcomed the spinoff with open arms, he does think the series has the potential to change the public’s tune.

“I’m also really curious how the franchise kind of flips things around. I feel like the comments have been really not great,” he said. “I think a lot of people are like, ‘What is going on? These people are not Mormon.’ I’m just curious how then they portray it. Do they try to overcompensate the drama? What is it going to look like? I cannot wait.”

Hulu announced in April that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County would premiere in late 2026, centering around California-based mom influencers McCall Dapron, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods, Bobbi Althoff, Salomé Andrea, Ashleigh Pease, Madison Bontempo and Chandler Higginson. A specific date for the premiere has yet to be announced.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County is set to follow “a new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County” who “collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,” per the longline.

The summary continues, “While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo. Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok.”
