Inside ‘Euphoria’ Season 3’s Wildest Moments: Drug Mules, OnlyFans and a Shocking Death

News RoomBy News RoomMay 25, 20262 ViewsNo Comments

After a nearly four-year wait, Euphoria finally returned to HBO in April 2026 — and creator Sam Levinson is making sure no one forgets what is likely to be the final season.

Season 3 delivered some of the most jaw-dropping, controversial and downright chaotic moments in the hit show’s history, from a stomach-churning premiere to the death of a fan-favorite character.

Keep scrolling for a breakdown of the craziest scenes from Euphoria season 3 so far:

Zendaya’s Rue Returns as a Drug Mule in the Premiere

The April 12, 2026, season 3 premiere wasted no time. After a five-year time jump, Zendaya’s Rue is now working as a drug mule — and within minutes of the episode, she and Faye (Chloe Cherry) were shown using lube to swallow large quantities of balloons filled with drugs before smuggling them from Mexico into the United States.

Rue made it home in time to dispose of the balloons. Faye? Not so lucky. She had “an accident,” feces ran down her leg and a dog tried to lick it off.

Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie Becomes an OnlyFans Star

Cassie Howard’s (Sydney Sweeney) descent into the world of online adult content has become one of the season’s most polarizing arcs. An April 19 flashback episode traced her evolution into explicit creator work, including topless ice-cream photo shoots and adult-baby role-play. A May 10 episode pushed even further, showing Cassie masturbating on camera, mailing used underwear to fans and going topless again — all while Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) pressured her to do more to pay off his debts.

Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi’s Chaotic Wedding Episode

The April 26 episode finally gave fans Cassie and Nate’s wedding — and it was a disaster from start to finish. Nate spent the day throwing up while Cassie nearly cracked under the pressure. They made it through vows, but at dinner, a man named Naz cornered Nate about the money he owed, blowing up his massive debts in front of Cassie.

Cassie “accidentally” injured Nate’s eye with a champagne cork before the newlyweds made up — only to return home and find Naz waiting. The loan shark had a colleague beat Nate up and cut off his pinky as Cassie watched in horror.

Anna Van Patten Debuts in a Brutal Strip Club Scene

On May 3, Anna Van Patten — sister of actress Grace Van Patten — made her Euphoria debut as Kitty, a new dancer at the strip club where Rue works. After Angel (Priscilla Delgado) disappeared from rehab, Kitty was hired by four men for a private room. She took ketamine before the men took turns having sex with her, while Rue watched the situation unfold on the club’s security cameras. Rue tried to intervene, but Kitty brushed off her concerns.

Alexa Demie’s Maddy Makes a Mysterious Deal With Alamo

Ahead of the season 3 finale, Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie) approached Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) for help after learning Nate had 72 hours to live. Alamo made Maddy put on a bathing suit and join him in his hot tub before agreeing to give her the $1 million she needed to pay off Nate’s debt. The scene cut away, leaving viewers wondering whether sexual favors were part of the deal. Alamo later revealed he’d take 20 percent of Maddy’s future earnings — a deal that became worthless when Nate turned up dead.

Jacob Elordi’s Nate Killed Off in a Shocking Finale Twist

The May 24 episode delivered the season’s biggest gut punch: Nate’s death. Trapped underground in a coffin for 72 hours while Cassie scrambled to pay his debts, Nate was bitten repeatedly by a rattlesnake that slithered into the box. Cassie, Maddy and Alamo dug him out — but it was too late.

Euphoria airs Sundays on HBO.
