News RoomBy News RoomFebruary 4, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

Influencer Kate Mackz and husband Jermey Werden are expanding their family.

The TikTok star, 28, announced via Instagram on Tuesday, February 3, that she and Werden are expecting their first baby together. In a carousel of photos, Mackz wore a white baby tee and flowy pants while exposing her growing baby bump. She gave her pet cat a kiss while Werden knelt down and held up pastel pink Converse to her bump.

“The most unexpected blessing coming this June. God’s plan 🤍,” Mackz captioned the post. “We’re ready for you, baby girl 💕🥹.”
The runner beamed for the camera while matching Mackz in a white T-shirt and blue jeans. They both accessorized with silver jewelry, including Mackz’s ring and earrings and Werden’s watch.

When fans swiped to the next photo, they saw a sweet image of their cat posing with Mackz’s sonogram.

She concluded her post by standing in front of her pool and cuddling up to Werden. He gave her a kiss on her forehead and wrapped his arm around her while holding her sonogram.

Mackz’s influencer friends and fans complimented her in the comments section.

“COME ON NOW! CONGRATS! See you on the road with our running strollers 🙌🏻,” Jordan Litz wrote. Amanda McCants added, “This is so exciting!!!” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who Mackz faced backlash for interviewing in May 2025, also commented, “Congratulations! Motherhood is the best thing in life!”

Werden also got in on the fun and wrote, “Excited for JP to have a sister and to grow our family❤️❤️.” (Mackz and Werden’s cat is named Jean Pierre, or JP for short.”

Mackz and Werden tied the knot in September 2025. In November 2025, she shared moments from their nuptials via Instagram, writing, “A quick running break on marathon weekend for a few photos from one of our favorite weekends.” She added, “Love you so much, can’t wait to grow our family together 🩵.”

Mackz previously opened up to Us Weekly about building a platform for running and interviewing stars, including Lindsay Hubbard, Jason Derulo, Julianne Hough, Tim Gunn and more.

“We’ve done over 300 interviews, we’ve had so many unforgettable moments and we’ve been to so many places through the shows,” she said. “One of my first major collaborations ever was with Bobby Flay. We ran together on the West Side Highway and then we made pasta together afterwards. Since then, the adventures have only grown.”

Mackz continued, gushing about the “incredible” experience. “It’s just so fun to be able to interview all sorts of people and do all different types of activities with them. It’s pretty wild, even just listing out a few of the things that we’ve been able to do.”

After facing backlash from interviewing Leavitt, 28, Mackz said, “It all just comes down to hearing people’s stories and backgrounds from all walks of life. And it’s amazing when certain stories resonate with certain people.”

She added, “As an interviewer, I’m just always so pleased when I hear that a story resonates with somebody.”
