When Lando Norris clinched his first Formula 1 world drivers’ title at the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, he shared an emotional circuit-side embrace with his parents, Cisca and Adam. The British superstar, a driver for the McLaren Mastercard F1 team, has always been close to his family.

“My dad’s passion for racing is what kickstarted my motorsport journey,” he tells Alexa. “He’s been there throughout it all and sacrificed a lot of his time to drive me to races and help me chase my dream. We spent a lot of time traveling together when I was younger, so having his support still means a lot, whether he’s at the track or watching from home.”

Norris, the face of Ralph Laurens’ Polo Red fragrance line, grew up in Glastonbury, England, and as a teenager broke records and topped podiums in kart racing and junior formulae. He entered the McLaren Young Driver Programme in 2017 and joined McLaren in 2019, making his debut at the Australian Grand Prix. So far, the 26-year-old racer has racked up 11 race wins, 16 pole positions, 19 fastest laps, and 45 podiums in his Formula 1 career. In addition to his podium-topping performances, the incredibly popular motorsport athlete is involved in multiple charities, including Race Against Dementia.

In honor of Father’s Day, here’s a look at Norris’ favorite high-performance gear.

“POLO Red is a fragrance I’ve been using for a very long time now, so this would be an easy choice for me. It’s got a sporty vibe to it, which is why it’s become part of my routine on race weekends. Having it in a gift set with the added deodorant makes it a great Father’s Day gift.”

“I travel almost every week during the season, so durable luggage that still looks great is important. TUMI is reliable, stylish, and has features which makes life a lot easier when you’re constantly moving between races.”

“Comfort is a big thing for me, especially with how much travelling I do. A linen shirt is easy to wear during the summer and works whether you’re on holiday or spending time with family.”

“When you’re always changing time zones, having something that keeps my energy up while tasting great makes all the difference. Monster is my go-to drink when I feel I want an extra boost.”

“I’ve always loved anything creative, and this combines that with my love of racing and my own design. It’s the sort of gift you can have a fun time building with your friends and then keep on display.”

“I’ve always been a fan of gifts that you’ll actually use. Polo 67 has a fresh feel that’s great for summer, and the gift set includes a smaller size which is great for when you’re traveling.”

“Some of my favourite memories come from traveling.  A hotel stay is a great way to switch off, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy somewhere new.”

“What I like about Richard Mille is the attention to detail and the engineering behind it.  A lot of that mindset reminds me of Formula 1, where every little detail matters.”

“A good pair of sunglasses is something I always travel with. They’re stylish, comfortable and perfect for spending time outdoors during the summer.”

“When you’re travelling a lot, having a device that’s easy to use for entertainment, staying connected and keeping organized makes a big difference. It’s the kind of thing that becomes part of your everyday routine pretty quickly.”
