A spot in the Eastern Conference Final is on the line when the Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres face off in a winner-take-all Game 7 tonight.

Facing elimination in Saturday’s Game 6, the Sabres saved their season in a big way with an 8-3 win over the Habs. After falling behind early in the game, the Sabres responded with seven unanswered goals.

Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin put up a spectacular five-point performance (1 goal, 4 assists), while forward Tage Thompson dominated the stat sheet with a goal and three assists of his own.
