Hotel’s ‘wellness mini bar’ offers sauna blankets, CBD gummies and ‘vibration wraps’

The mini bar is getting a feel-good makeover.

Travelers’ priorities are changing for the healthier, as evidence by the rise of sleep tourism, runcations, med-cations and even menopause getaways.

Now one California resort has added a “wellness mini bar” to its list of amenities, stocking it not with drinks, chips and chocolate but high-end tools to promote recovery, sleep and overall well-being.

Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach Resorts recently introduced the unique in-room offerings to help guests better chill out.

“We noticed that many travelers want the opportunity to continue their wellness routines, whether before or after a spa treatment, or just as part of their day, without leaving their room,” Lara Davidson, General Manager at Casa Palmero, told The Post.

“As an intimate retreat focused on personalized service, it felt natural to extend the wellness experience beyond the spa. The mini bar makes it simple for guests to practice self-care, unwinding after travel, getting ready for a restful night, or just taking a quiet moment to recharge.”

The menu includes recovery tools from Hyperice, like their $1,099 leg compression boots, a $269 heat-and-vibration wrap, a $499 knee therapy wrap and a $299 percussion massage device. All are available to rent for 24 hours for $30.

For sauna fans, they have tools from Higher Dose — rentable for 24 hours for $45 — like their $699 sauna blanket and $12,95 Infrared PEMF mat.

Those, Davidson said, are fan favorites, especially because they “let guests enjoy a spa-level experience right in their suite.”

For winding down, they offer melatonin tea, CBD sleep gummies, a CBD soak and cozy eye masks and socks.

“Our selections came down to functionality, quality, and relevance for today’s wellness-minded traveler,” Davidson explained. “The goal was to offer items that guests would use and enjoy, helping them feel comfortable, cared for, and fully refreshed during their stay.”

A very well getaway

Casa Palmero certainly isn’t the only hotel prioritizing sleep, recovery and overall wellness.

The Equinox Hotel New York lets guests book its Sleep Lab, where they can sleep on adaptive mattresses, program personalized room features for the morning and evening, and enjoy a bedtime kit with an eye mask, sleep tea and magnesium sleep patch.

They also offer a special in-room dining menu with foods specifically picked to help with sleep.

Andaz 5th Avenue in New York also has 7 “Wellness Suites” with a menu of services including workout equipment (like yoga mats and Lululemon’s Studio Mirror), foot baths and essential oils.
