Hilary Swank is reminding fans that fall fashion doesn’t have to mean another season of beige, black and brown. The actress stepped out in a colorful chunky knit cardigan that instantly made Us want to give our sweater collection a little personality. Between the cheerful stripes and cozy silhouette, it’s the kind of wardrobe refresh we’ve been craving.
The 52-year-old actress showed off her pregnant belly while wearing a striped rainbow-hued cardigan, which she paired with a white tank top, loose light-wash jeans, navy pointed-toe heels and a bright red clutch. The playful combination made a strong case for swapping basic knits for something a little more fun. Even better? We found a $36 version on Amazon that channels her look.

The Shenhe Color-Block Cardigan captures the same colorful, cozy feel as the celeb’s with bold stripes, a ribbed texture and relaxed drop shoulders. It features an open-front design, long sleeves and a slightly cropped silhouette that pairs perfectly with high-waisted jeans. The colorful multicolor option is especially close to Swank’s look, but it also comes in sage green, pink and other shades, with sizes ranging from XS to XXL.
Amazon shoppers are loving it, too! The cardigan has earned more than 600 five-star ratings, with one reviewer calling it an “adorable sweater with vibrant colors.” They also described it as “super cute” and “very soft,” making it sound like the kind of sweater you’ll want to wear on repeat.
Another buyer who called the cardigan “very flattering” also gave it a five-star rating. “I love this so much,” they wrote. “I wear it often, and always get so many compliments.”
Between the cheerful colors and easy-to-style shape, this cardigan is a statement piece that doesn’t require much effort. Add your favorite jeans, a simple tee and ankle boots for an instantly fun fall outfit.
Whether you’re heading to brunch, running errands or simply tired of wearing the same neutral sweaters, this bold, playful cardigan brings something fresh to your rotation. Consider it your excuse to have a little more fun with fall fashion — for only $36.
