The Jets will once again turn to Tyrod Taylor as QB1 when they try to snap a two-game losing skid against the 4-7 Atlanta Falcons.
Last week, the Jets secured their 10th straight losing season with a 23-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Nov. 23 game was Taylor’s first since he replaced Justin Fields mid-game in an Oct. 19 loss to Carolina. Ahead of Week 12, Fields was benched in favor of Taylor, and the Jets will seemingly keep Taylor as their starter for now.
The Falcons are coming into Week 13 off a win that ended a five-game losing streak. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins made his first start of the season in last week’s win, following starter Michael Penix Jr.’s season-ending knee injury. Cousins was completed 16 of 23 passes in his season debut, and will start again today.
