Graham Platner reveals he used Planned Parenthood for STD tests: ‘Smart thing to do’

News RoomBy News RoomJune 23, 20260 ViewsNo Comments

WASHINGTON —  Democratic Maine Senate hopeful Graham Platner commended Planned Parenthood for helping him get tested for sexually transmitted diseases as he grapples with scandals over his alleged adultery and debauchery.

While receiving an endorsement from Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s president, the horny oyster farmer heaped praise on the controversial abortion provider and recounted needing its services during his youth.

“I myself at a younger age … I got STI checks at the Portland Planned Parenthood. And it’s not an embarrassing thing. It’s a smart thing to do, especially when you’re younger,” Platner stressed during an event in Portland, Maine.

He didn’t reveal the results of those tests.

Platner’s comments come on the heels of revelations from his former campaign political director that he sexted with multiple women despite being married, having tied the knot with his wife in 2023.

Around that time, it also emerged that Platner had an active Kik account, an anonymous platform infamous for hookups. His profile picture featured him shirtless with a towel around his waist.

The oyster farmer also made a slew of old, since-deleted Reddit posts over the years in which he mused about making love to porta potties, among other sex acts.

Then came the accusations that he was a bad boyfriend, including from Lyndsey Fifield, who alleged he was physically rough with her, yanking her out of a cab by the wrists and, at a different point in time, twisting her arm behind her back and locking her in a room.

Platner has emphatically denied the accusations that he was violent, but has acknowledged that he wasn’t always a great boyfriend.

Earlier this month, another woman came forward claiming that the two dated, and he likely cheated on his former fiancée with her.

Both Fifield and the other woman had messages with confidants discussing his skull-and-crossbones tattoo resembling a Nazi symbol before it was publicly known he had it. Platner has denied knowing he had a Nazi tattoo.

During the Monday event, Platner touted his support for abortion rights and Planned Parenthood, ahead of the four-year anniversary of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision on Wednesday.

“I will also say that many of my female friends and my wife throughout their lives have received some form of that same kind of support from Planned Parenthood,” Platner said.

“I have friends who, even today, get primary care through Planned Parenthood.”

Platner noted that his healthcare is taken care of by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
