George Kittle weighed in on the fun involving his good friend and 49ers teammate Kyle Juszczyk.
On X, Kittle posted a photo of Juszczyk in a hot tub holding a can of beer and captioned the post, “He can’t be stopped!! This is before practice! Are you kidding me @JuiceCheck44.”
Kittle went on and tagged the NFL and said: “This guy is a menace.”
The news of Kittle poking fun at his teammate comes a few hours after Juszczyk received a $14,926 fine from the NFL after he scored his first touchdown of the season in Sunday’s 35-13 win over Miami, when he pretended to chug a bottle of juice.
On Thursday morning, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that in Juszczyk’s fine, the league wrote, “Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste.”
Juszczyk immediately texted Schefter after he revealed the fine and told him the celebration is “an ode to his nickname, ‘Juice.”
He went on to tell Schefter that this is the first time he’s been fined for the celebration and that he doesn’t “even drink beer!”
Since he was issued the fine, Juszczyk has already started the appeal process and reposted Schefter’s tweets by writing, “Can’t make this stuff up…”
Kittle and Juszczyk have been teammates for nine years. They both arrived to San Francisco in 2017 and have been regularly seen hanging out with one another during the offseason.
