FRP, a powersports brand focused on making outdoor riding accessible to everyday riders, has announced the launch of its first US community initiative, Rider Series, as the company grows its presence across the United States. The opening event takes place on 2 May in Stafford, Texas, marking the start of a planned series of community gatherings in key markets across the country.
The first event, FRP Rider Series Houston Vol. 1 Keep Going Further, will bring local riders together for an afternoon of community riding, mini bike games, and custom bike showcases. FRP will also present the GMB100 in new blue and yellow colourways. Riders who take part in selected activities will receive product-based rewards including branded apparel, accessories, and parts.
“We built FRP for people who want to ride consistently,” said Wei Huang, founder and CEO of FRP. “The goal has always been to make riding feel approachable at the beginning and worth coming back to after the first ride. The industry sells courage. We believe courage happens after riders trust the bike.”
Rider Series was created to support the growing number of riders who engage with powersports through everyday riding, local meetups, and shared experiences that go beyond the traditional performance-driven event format. Rather than placing speed or competition at the centre, the series reflects a broader move towards more practical and social forms of riding.
“We do not see community as a marketing campaign,” Huang said. “We see it as listening. The people who ride our bikes help shape what we build next, and these events give us a way to stay close to that.”
As FRP continues its US expansion, the company plans to use Rider Series as an ongoing platform to support local rider communities and stay connected to how powersports continues to develop. The company also plans to launch two new models, the FX140 and FX125, in June, featuring updated engineering designed for trail performance and long-ride durability.
The Houston event runs from 4pm to 8pm on 2 May at 12999 Murphy Rd., Unit 2K1, Stafford, Texas, and is open to invited riders, local partners, and community members.
