Former NFL quarterback Michael Vick was a proud dad last weekend as he sent his daughter, London, off to her senior prom.
Michael, 45, kept it casual, wearing a white polo and shorts next to London, 18, who went all-out with a custom-made beaded gown and matching gloves.
“The dress spoke for itself 😝 #prom2026,” London wrote via Instagram next to a carousel of pre-prom photos that included her standing next to her ride for the night, a white Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
Michael shares London, as well as daughter Jada, 21, and son Michael Jr., 8, with wife Kijafa Vick. He also has a son from a previous relationship.
Kijafa, 45, wrote in the comments, “Proud mom here 🥰🥰,” and added a carousel of her own to her personal page.
“Not too much. Just enough. @londonvick #prom2k26 #gucciboots,” she wrote.
London also shared a video showing how she got ready for prom, where she detailed how excited she was for her big night.
“I have not one nerve in my body, which is crazy because that’s normally the first emotion I feel,” she said. “I never feel anything besides nervousness. And today’s very different, I’m just very excited to see my friend and have fun. I’m ready.”
London added that her dress is giving “main character” energy.
“The movie’s about me, the show’s about me, you turn around, you see me everywhere,” she said. “This is the moment. I really think this dress is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
Just months away from beginning the next chapter of her life at Howard University, London later reflected on enjoying the moment, saying the biggest mistake people typically make is, “How focused we are on ourselves and not the actual event itself. Yes everything’s about prom but no one really cares about the prom.”
She opened up about her college decision process during a March 2026 episode of BET’s The Coach Vick Experience, where she said she applied to Hampton University, Clark Atlanta University, and Georgia Tech, but that there was a mystery school that she did not want to disclose.
“I don’t want to tell anyone I’m applying,” she said. “If I get in there, I’ll just, I’ll tell y’all. That’s like embarrassing if you don’t get into a school.”
Michael responded, “Guess what? It’s a lot of colleges I wanted to go to to play football. But you can’t feel embarrassed when it don’t happen. Like you a failure or something.”
