Million Dollar Nannies introduced viewers to former Kardashian nanny Leah Barrs, who quickly found herself at the center of a scandal after she revealed she previously slept with a dad who hired her to watch his child.
The show, which is streaming now on Hulu, follows a young group of elite nannies as they head to Ibiza to launch an agency built for nannies.
“They’re promised VIP families, life-changing money, and a shot at something bigger than any of them could build alone,” read the official synopsis. “But fierce competition, personal drama, and a scandal from the past threaten to derail the dream before the summer sets.”
Leah brought the rest of the cast together but it didn’t take long for many of them to turn on her. The rest of the season questioned whether Leah could still remain the face of the agency she created amid various friendship feuds.

Who Is Leah Barrs?
Before being front and center on Million Dollar Nannies, Leah gained a following documenting her time as a nanny for Kourtney Kardashian. She then became a personal assistant for YouTuber Zane Hijazi before returning to the world of high profile nannying — which paved the way for her reality TV debut.
How Did Leah Barrs Start Working for Kourtney Kardashian?
After moving to Los Angeles, Leah was put into contact with Kourtney through their church, telling The New York Post in June 2026, “It was fate. He said, ‘I think you would be perfect for the position. Would you want to work for the Kardashians? I was like, ‘Holy s***. This is crazy! YES!’”
Leah expressed gratitude for her time with the famous family.
“It was beyond nannying,” she said. “I learned a lot about myself — [Kourtney] really taught me to be a better worker. Networking, being the best version of myself. Representing that family. Everyone always said, ‘You should start your own agency.’”

“So much goes into being a high-profile nanny,” Leah told The Post. “I was doing doctors appointments, school events — keeping track of calendars. Not only the parents’ schedules but the kid’s schedules, closet organization. Travel.”
How Did Leah’s Job Create a Scandal for NannyTok?
Just as NannyTok was getting off the ground in Ibiza, Leah mentioned to one of the people in their friend group that she previously hooked up with a dad who hired her to work for him. This set off a chain reaction as everyone in their circle caught wind of the revelation — which is considered a no-no in the nanny community.
Leah later explained that the dad was a friend who asked her to watch his child once. Since they had a history — and he was not married — it wasn’t as scandalous as other nannies and later families in Ibiza made it out to be.
What Did Leah’s Costars Say About the Scandal?
“At first, when I’m finding out about it, it was more so finding out the details and like trying not to jump to conclusions,” Mitchell Bienvenue exclusively told Us Weekly about his initial reaction. “There was a lot of not knowing because we had just met Leah and there was not wanting to just judge without knowing anything.”
Mitchell recalled wanting to know the whole story first.
“It was more so about gathering all the information and hearing Leah speak,” he noted. “Then it was about coming up with an actual plan to not allow it to ruin what we’re trying to do in creating a nanny agency.”
Leah’s confessional ultimately does affect the group once word spreads. For his fiancée, Taylor Hayward, it was hard to know who to trust in the situation after a client spilled the beans to the rest of the island.
“Obviously I was shocked at first. I didn’t hear it from Leah herself so obviously I wanted to know for sure,” she told Us. “If he was single or if he was married and all of that. So I didn’t know any details.”
Taylor defended her decision, saying, “I got super, super close with [my boss] and I never really had any of the girls by my side the whole time. I kind of felt alone, and she was somebody that I trusted with everything. I told her because I just felt comfortable and that was like one thing [I regret].”
